There is drinking water for dogs in Koirametsä Hilarius. Currently in a canister that is changed regularly. Later, there will be an actual water point, for drinking water and washing paws. The water cup can be found next to the canister, but we recommend using your own drinking container

THERE IS ALSO AN OUTBUILDING AND THE MAIN HOUSE IN THE YARD CIRCUIT OF KOIRAMETSÄ, WHICH ARE BEING RENOVATED AT THE BEST. HOWEVER, THE FOREST CAN BE USED NORMALLY AND YOU CAN BE AT YOUR OWN PEACE THERE.

Instructions for arriving in Hilarius and using the dog forest.

1. When you have booked an appointment on our website, you will receive a confirmation email with the gate code and the reservation code, which you can also use to cancel if necessary at https://www.hallinnoija.fi/kmhilarius/ajan-peruminen

3. Koirametsä Hilarius is located at the end of a private road. The road also passes by the neighboring house. Drive slowly!

2. Arrive at the place just before the start of your shift, 5 minutes at the earliest so that the previous ones have time to leave in peace.

4. Park your car as soon as you enter the yard to the left, on the side facing the forest. Keep your dog leashed until you reach the side of the dog park.

5. The area is fenced with a 2m high net, the fence is anchored to the ground, but not underground. So watch your dog's activities.

6. In the forest, there are several containers for waste, and cleaning tools. Let's keep the forest cozy and clean up our dogs' droppings whenever possible. There is a container for other rubbish at the gate

7. Smoking in the forest is strictly prohibited. The smoking area can be found next to the barbecue shelter.

8. If you notice any defects or repairs in the forest, fence or yard, please let us know as soon as possible. Especially if it is related to the safety of using the dog forest. The area is checked regularly, but if, for example, due to the forces of nature, the fence has broken, etc. it is especially important that we receive information about it as soon as possible.

Hilarus means joyful in Latin. in English, hilarious means, well..you know.. hilarious. It reflects a lot about us, our forest and our life.

However, Hilarius is better suited to the Finnish language.
